HOW I CATALOG

Every piece is examined before it is priced.

Most crystal listings are a photo and a name. This collection is worked the other way around. Each specimen is weighed on a calibrated scale, measured against a tape, photographed from every side, and identified from what it visibly is — habit, luster, cleavage, color zoning, density — before it gets a name or a number.

Weighed and measured

Real numbers from a scale and a tape, not estimates. The scale and tape photos stay in every gallery so you can check the figures yourself rather than take my word for them.

Treatments disclosed

Dyed agates and coated aura quartz are labeled as treated on the photo and explained on the page. A lot of the market sells these silently. A treated stone is not a lesser stone, but you should know which one you are buying.

Uncertainty stated

Where an identification is not settled, the piece carries an ID unconfirmed badge and the page explains what it might be and how to check. Those pieces are priced accordingly. I would rather lose the sale than name something I cannot stand behind.

Flaws in the description

Chips, contact points, healed fractures and base wear are written into the condition notes rather than shot around. Nothing is hidden behind a flattering angle.

Identification here is careful opinion from visual examination, not laboratory certification. Where that matters, the specimen page says so plainly.

Know when new pieces land

The collection grows a few specimens at a time. Leave an address and you will hear when new pieces are cataloged, when something goes on sale, and when a new journal entry posts. Nothing else.

Ships from Miami, Florida to anywhere in the United States, at cost with no handling markup. Buying more than one piece saves money — they go in one box. Miami local pickup is welcome and free.

USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate to anywhere in the US. One price per box whatever it weighs, so a heavy piece costs no more than a light one. Padding and a rigid box included. Miami local pickup is free.

Terms

All sales are final. Measurements are approximate and taken at the widest points. Colors read differently under different lighting. Treatments such as dye or coating are disclosed on the specimen page.

If it breaks in transit, email photos of the box, the packing and the piece within 48 hours of delivery and I will refund you. Everything over $100 ships insured. Keep the packaging until you have inspected the piece — claims cannot be filed without it.

Identifications are made by visual examination and are stated as opinion, not certification. Where an identification is not settled, the specimen page says so. Metaphysical properties are listed because buyers ask about them; they describe common associations in crystal practice and are not claims of any physical, medical or psychological effect.
